Child Safety Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Our stand
TalkSibi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including the creation, sharing, solicitation, or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any account engaged in this conduct is permanently banned, all content is preserved as evidence, and the matter is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent authority in the user's jurisdiction.
2. Age gate
TalkSibi is intended for users aged 18 and over. Signing up requires you to confirm you are 18 or over. Date of birth is optional, and any date showing under-18 is refused. Bypassing the age gate — confirming falsely, or falsifying a date of birth — is a violation of our Terms.
If we learn that an under-18 has created an account, we remove it within 48 hours, delete all data, and block the associated email + IP where practical.
3. CSAE and CSAM zero-tolerance
The following are absolutely prohibited on TalkSibi and result in immediate permanent ban plus mandatory reporting:
- Any image, video, audio or text depicting sexual activity involving anyone under 18, real or fictional (including AI-generated imagery, animations, illustrations, and roleplay text).
- Solicitation of sexual content, contact or meetings from anyone represented as under 18.
- Grooming behaviour — building trust with an under-18 user to enable abuse.
- Sharing links or platforms known to host CSAM.
- Extortion involving intimate imagery of minors (financial or otherwise).
- Any content that sexualises childhood, including "child model" material, dress-up scenarios, or bathing/undressing content involving minors regardless of stated age.
4. Detection and reporting
We use a layered approach to detect abuse:
- User reports — every message, post, comment and profile has a Report button. Reports about child safety are triaged within 24 hours.
- Rate-limiting and pattern detection — bulk messaging, mass follow, and repeated attempts to contact new users are automatically flagged.
- Human moderation — the operator personally reviews every report until we scale to a moderation team, at which point new team members will be trained on our safety policies before given access.
- NCMEC reporting — where CSAM is confirmed or credibly alleged, we file a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline within 24 hours and preserve the evidence for 90 days.
5. Moderation practices
- Every reported profile, message, post and voice note is human-reviewed.
- Wall posts and comments can be removed unilaterally without notice for safety violations.
- Repeat offenders (2+ minor violations) get their accounts closed.
- Being blocked or reported is a signal we act on: if several people you wrote to block or report you within a week, you get one official warning. If it happens again after that warning, a moderator reviews your account and may suspend it. A report of sexual messages that your own messages confirm is reviewed straight away.
- A suspended account's email address cannot be used to sign up again, and the devices it used cannot be used to create or sign in to another account.
- Your display name is fixed once you sign up, so people you talked to always know who you are. To change it, contact us.
- Any single serious violation (CSAE, credible threat, doxxing) is an immediate permanent ban.
- Users may appeal by emailing hello@talksibi.com; appeals are reviewed within 7 working days.
6. User safety tools
Every user has access to:
- Block — the blocked user cannot see you or contact you in any way; you can't see them either.
- Report — report a specific message, profile, wall post, comment or party. Reports are anonymous; the reported user is not told who reported them.
- Mute a party — leave a live voice room at any time; you can hide the party from your list.
- Privacy controls — control who can message you (everyone / people you follow), who sees your profile, and who can invite you to parties.
- One-tap account deletion — Profile → Settings → Delete account. Removes all your data within 7 days.
7. Grooming and predatory behaviour
Grooming — sustained contact intended to build trust before abuse — is prohibited even when it targets adults. Signs we watch for and act on include:
- Rapid escalation to intimate topics, private meetings, or off-platform contact.
- Requests for intimate images or personal identifying information (address, school, workplace).
- Isolating a user from friends, family, or the community.
- Age-inappropriate flirtation or gifts.
- Patterns of contacting many new users with the same script.
If you experience or suspect grooming, report the profile and email hello@talksibi.com — we act within 24 hours.
8. Parents and guardians
If you believe a person under 18 has created a TalkSibi account, please email hello@talksibi.com with:
- The display name or profile URL if you have it
- The registered email address if you know it
- Your relationship to the young person
We verify parental identity, remove the account within 48 hours, and delete all associated data.
9. Law enforcement
Law enforcement agencies with lawful authority can request data preservation and disclosure by emailing hello@talksibi.com from an official domain, using the subject line LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUEST. We respond within 3 working days. For emergencies involving imminent risk of serious harm, we accept emergency requests without full documentation and confirm receipt within 12 hours.
